It quickly turns off the High Street and follows tracks which climb up, passing 12th-century St Eadburghas church. The St Catherines Valley Walk is one of the best country escape hikes near Bath a must if you like secluded valleys! Sitting right on the edge of Bath, where it meets the Cotswolds, this walk summits Little Solsbury Hill before descending into hidden valleys and up more green hills. This Cotswold Way circular walk takes you from the village of Winchcombe to one of the areas oldest monuments Belas Knap Long Barrow. 14 Into The City (Walk 3)- a1 mile walk from Fairfield to Bath city centre. Take the U1 (Firstgroup) from the Bath bus station/Dorchester Street towards the University of Bath. Its popular with cyclists and walkers alike looking for a scenic route.
